Matina is a horticulturally trained Landscape Designer. A graduate from the reputed Burnley Campus at the University of Melbourne. She brings together her deep understanding of plants and soils with a love of design to create functional spaces. With a background in business development, she values strong working relationships and places utmost importance on client's budgets, timelines and expectations.
"For me, a great garden is one that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also delivers at a subconscious level. A garden that invites you to linger a little longer, that brings you joy when you come up the driveway.
I started Earth Empire after recognising a need in the market for design and advisory services at affordable prices. All too often, garden projects remain idle for years because of cost constraints and not knowing where to start. Earth Empire recognises this dilemma (having experienced it myself) and aims to make specialist design services available to every home owner."

Matina is available to assist homeowners with smaller planting projects however larger projects requiring construction will require the services of an external landscape company. Earth Empire can assist you to find the right company and Matina remains engaged throughout the delivery of all projects, large or small, to ensure a fantastic outcome.
